Older children may enjoy a game of volleyball, while the family can play cricket or rounders in our meadow. Explore the south coast's hidden coves and beaches. |

| Breathtaking cliff top walks, enjoying the abundant flora and fauna. The Kernow Explorer, a fast rib, offers exciting boat trips. Sailing lessons are available in Fowey, but book early. A mornings mackerel fishing is an annual ritual for many of our visitors, providing a wonderful barbeque feast. The Fowey River and surrounding coastline offers world class sailing and boating opportunities. You are welcome to bring your boat with you and we will be happy to advise you regarding launching etc. (please advise us prior to arrival). The North Coast with wonderful surfing beaches is a mere 25 miles away. Boards, wetsuits and surf lessons are readily available. Horse riding at nearby St Veep. Saddle days offer a great opportunity for children to not only ride but to experience caring for a pony. If the heavens open you can settle into a good book in front of the wood burning stove or explore our “big barn” where you will find table tennis and indoor badminton. If the season is right, you can assist us in pressing fresh apple juice in the traditional way using apples from our orchard. Whatever your interest we will be happy to help you organise a perfect holiday. Babysitting can be arranged, preferably with prior notice.
