Tremeer is a wonderful place for groups to join together to celebrate a special occasion. Over the past 4 years we enjoyed hosting a number of very successful group holidays including: family reunions, “special” birthdays, yoga courses, wild swimming groups, hen nights and walking and activity holidays. We have four 18ft yurts, each of which can accommodate up to 2 adults and 3 children or 4 adults. There is also the option of a 16ft bell tent, which comfortably accommodates 2 adults and a child, and/or erecting our ger which is similar to a yurt but will sleep up to 5 people. You can also pitch further tents if required (for an additional charge). If you hire all 4 yurts it means that you can have exclusive use of Tremeer and all of our facilities. It means you won't be disturbing other guests and can relax around the campfire without fear of breaking a curfew (not that we would dream of having these here at Tremeer!). Our large rustic barn makes Tremeer a perfect location for groups. It is a wonderful structure where large groups can gather together should the weather be inclement. In here you will find badminton and table tennis. There is plenty of space to erect trestle tables as an alternative to the the barn and granary kitchens. You can relax under the stars in our wood fired cedar fired hot tub after a day exploring the hidden coves and beaches. Evenings can be spent roasting marshmallows over an open fire and chatting late into the night. The cowshed kitchen means that you can all cook and eat together. Alternatively you can eat al fresco, cooking over a charcoal BBQ, rustle up a hot chilli or grill steaks over an open fire. The Granary Kitchen is perfect for smaller groups or those who want a little peace away from the hub of the main group. Our bathrooms are fresh and modern, proper flushing loos and hot showers – no worries about composting toilets. Forget sitting in traffic jams, there is lots to do in the area, including stunning walks on the South Coast Path or along the Fowey River. Explore our hidden coves and beaches which are less than 2 miles away. There is sailing and canoeing on the River Fowey or try paddle surfing, windsurfing and sailing on Polkerris Beach. Fowey has a number of outstanding restaurants and cafes and is easily accessible by ferry. However to be truthful a lot of people just choose to stay and relax on the Farm. Please speak to us about your individual requirements, we will be very happy to help you to arrange any activities to make your stay a very special and memorable one.
